Meet Dr. Alley
My name is Dr. Alley Schottenstein, also known as Dr. Alley. I have a PhD in American history with specialties in race and ethnic studies, American and European Jewish history. Recently, I have been moving towards examining pop culture. I believe that history should be more inclusive and a way to build bridges. We must explore history from all different dimensions. It is my wish that history be more accessible to all types of people.
I have a BA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and Women and Gender Studies, a MA in American History with a Certificate in Holocaust Education and a PhD in American History.
Dr. Alley currently teaches at the Holocaust and Genocide Center as part of the human rights center at Gratz College online and the University of Cincinnati.
